Farmer's Market Salsa (2 Ways)
Red:
3-4 Ripe Roma Tomatoes
1 Medium red onion
3 Garlic Cloves
1 cup cilantro leaves
¼ cup olive oil
2 hot green chilies (1 can)
Salt and pepper
Green:
3 large Green Tomatillos
1 Large yellow onion
3 Garlic Cloves
2 cups cilantro leaves
2- 3 jalapeños
¼ cup olive oil
1 lime
Salt and pepper
Instructions for both:
Cut Tomatoes in Half, slice onion, peel garlic
Use brush to coat half tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, and garlic in olive oil
Add salt and pepper and lightly grill until slightly brown
Dice up all ingredients both raw/fresh and grilled and put in big bowl
Add lime juice and salt and pepper
Blend in food processor for about 3 minutes until smooth and yummy!
Serve with tortilla chips and guacamole!
